Evidence

OK, let's see, Here's a partial list of the evidence that my son attempted to get Larry Wharton to examine at their first meeting. There are phone records, repair records, motel receipts, witness statements, etc.
Not only did Larry refuse to look at the evidence, but he had the nerve to flaunt his authority, "I have the power to make this all go away, but I'm not going to do so. Now sign on the line or we're going to court."
He came to the meeting prepared to coerce a confession.  A copy of the false confession that Larry had previously signed and brought to the meeting is displayed at the bottom of this page.

Here are affidavits from a couple of the people who were with Matt 240 miles from the alleged crime when it was committed. Larry chose not to accept their testimony.

Here are some receipts from the merchants in Yavapai County who could testify as to Matt's whereabouts during the 'crime spree'.  Larry didn't want to examine these either.

Oh, and here's a printout from Verizon indicating where my son's phone made and received calls during the time in question.  This evidence was also discounted by Larry as inconsequential.  Is Verizon a part of this massive 'beer theft' conspiracy, Larry?

Here's the confession that Larry attempted to coerce my son into signing.  Talk about arrogance! This from the same person who wants to be a Superior Court Judge! Don't look at the evidence Larry, I guess that's not required from a judge.  If this guy makes it to the bench, we can look forward to lots of cases being closed. Just ignore the evidence, lock 'em up and throw away the key!  Makes Judge Roy Bean look like an envoy from Amnesty International.
